Techvantor is built on accuracy, and this page is a plain-language account of how AI is and isn’t used to get there.
How we use AI
- Research and drafting assistance. We use AI tools to help gather and organise information from primary sources and to help draft articles. Every draft is then checked against those sources.
- Editing. Tightening sentences, catching typos.
What AI does not decide here
- Facts and steps are verified by a person against real sources before anything publishes. A language model does not get the final say on whether a troubleshooting step is correct — the source and the editor do.
- Support-tracker dates and any success-rate figures come from manufacturer documentation and real measurement, never from a model’s guess. Unknown dates are marked “Not announced.”
- Imagery. We don’t publish AI-generated or stock photos of devices or people. Screenshots are real and dated; diagrams are drawn by hand.
Why we’re telling you
Plenty of sites quietly generate content and stamp it with fake test dates. We’d rather be honest about the process, cite our sources, date everything, and fix mistakes in public on our corrections log. If this policy changes, we’ll update it here with the date.
